pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (Artificial Intelligence Act)
Last updated: August 2026
This policy describes, in a clear and accessible manner, how Med Consulting S.r.l. (hereinafter also referred to as “Med Consulting” or the “Company”) uses artificial intelligence systems and tools in the context of its communication, promotion, and content distribution activities.
This privacy notice has been prepared in accordance with the principles of transparency, reliability, human oversight, and accountability set forth in Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 13, 2024, which establishes harmonized rules on artificial intelligence (“AI Act”), with particular reference to the transparency obligations set forth in Article 50, applicable as of August 2, 2026, as well as the relevant guidelines issued by the European Commission.
The publication of this notice constitutes a voluntary measure of transparency and does not, in and of itself, imply that all content to which it refers is subject to a specific labeling requirement under the AI Act. The applicability of individual obligations is assessed by taking into account the nature of the system used, the role played by the Company, the characteristics of the content, and the specific context of publication.
When using the tools described in this policy, Med Consulting typically acts as a professional user or “deployer” of the artificial intelligence system, according to the terminology of the AI Act, and not as a provider or developer of the relevant model or service, unless otherwise indicated.
Artificial intelligence is used to support human activity and in accordance with the following principles:
Foreign-language versions of the website can be created using Google Cloud Translation or other machine or human-assisted translation tools.
The process involves automatically generating the foreign-language content based on the approved Italian version and making it available on the website in real time. The initial publication of the machine translation may therefore precede the completion of the human editorial review.
The language versions produced in this way are subsequently reviewed by qualified staff to verify their terminological accuracy, substantial correspondence with the source text, comprehensibility, and consistency with the relevant commercial and technical context. Following the review, any errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or discrepancies are corrected in the content management system. If the source text or its translation is modified or updated, the new version can be published automatically in real time and is then subjected to a subsequent review and, if necessary, correction.
Med Consulting retains editorial responsibility for the published language versions. It is understood that, in the event of any ambiguity or discrepancy, the Italian version may be considered the authoritative version, unless otherwise provided by law, contract, or the nature of the document.
Some images published on the website, in catalogs, on social media channels, in presentations, and in promotional materials may be created, enhanced, or modified using generative artificial intelligence or digital processing tools.
In particular, Med Consulting can use these tools to place a real product in a reconstructed or synthetic setting, in order to immediately illustrate its potential context of use. In such cases:
When the synthetic or manipulated nature of the content could reasonably affect the public’s perception of authenticity, Med Consulting adopts disclosure methods proportionate to the context, such as a general notice accessible on the website, a statement in the catalog, or—in cases where this is necessary to avoid misunderstandings—a note associated with the individual image.
Editorial review and approval do not replace any specific transparency obligations that may apply to content classified as “deep fakes” under the AI Act. The Company therefore assesses, on a case-by-case basis, whether the content depicts or manipulates existing people, objects, places, entities, or events in such a way as to appear falsely authentic or truthful.
Prior to publication, content generated by artificial intelligence undergoes human review commensurate with the nature, purpose, and potential impact of the content. Depending on the circumstances, this review may include linguistic, terminological, technical, commercial, graphic, and reputational checks.
Approval is carried out by internal staff or by designated individuals with the appropriate expertise. Med Consulting retains editorial responsibility for the content published through its official channels and may modify, suspend, or remove content if inaccuracies, misleading information, or instances of non-compliance are identified.
The settings and illustrations of use are provided solely for illustrative and promotional purposes. They do not replace technical data sheets, user manuals, warnings, certifications, declarations of conformity, or other official documents related to the products.
The technical specifications and conditions of use for the products must be verified in the most recent official documentation. Any colors, proportions, details, or accessories shown in the images may differ from the actual product due to processing, graphic rendering, or adaptation to the medium.
This policy applies, where applicable, to content published or distributed by Med Consulting through:
Artificial intelligence systems and translation or content-generation services may be provided by third parties, who remain responsible for the obligations applicable to them as system providers, including, where applicable, obligations regarding machine-readable labeling and the detectability of artificially generated or manipulated outputs.
Med Consulting selects and uses these services based on criteria of suitability, security, and reliability, without prejudice to the organizational and technical autonomy of the respective providers.
Med Consulting may update this privacy policy in response to changes in regulations, guidance from the relevant authorities, technological developments, or changes in how artificial intelligence systems are used. The current version is the one published on the website and identified by the date of the last update.
