Disposable, reusable and work gloves

Nitrile, latex and vinyl disposable gloves, reusable and work gloves.

Disposable gloves are now sold in a variety of materials and with a wide range of characteristics and different uses.

To guarantee safe and reliable products, Med Consulting has invested in VAM: the new proprietary product brand.

Disposable gloves

Nitrile gloves

Nitrile gloves are made of nitrile rubber, a synthetic copolymer of acrylonitrile with butadiene. This form of synthetic rubber makes it possible to produce gloves with high mechanical and chemical resistance. Nitrile gloves are highly elastic which is why they are considered the best fitting gloves on the market.

Disposable gloves

Latex gloves

If you are looking for gloves that are elastic, impermeable and with a high degree of touch sensitivity, then latex gloves are the best solution. Thanks to the use of caoutchouc, a natural rubber obtained from the Hevea Brasiliensis tree, latex gloves ensure a perfect fit, while also providing excellent touch sensitivity and protection, making them ideal for medical or chemical use.

Disposable gloves

Vinyl gloves

Vinyl gloves are single-use gloves made from synthetic raw materials (polyvinyl chloride) combined with plasticizers. Hence, the gloves are malleable, elastic and soft.

Another feature of vinyl gloves is the low risk of developing allergies. Since they are chemically synthesized, they do not contain protein substances and, therefore, the possibility of developing sensitivity to the materials is very low.

These gloves are suitable for all fields of professional work, as they are practical and economical, and are widely used in hospital settings. Vinyl gloves are mainly used for diagnostic procedures, examinations and wound dressings, as well as in outpatient settings, in order to avoid the risk of contamination and infections.

Reusable gloves

“Reusable gloves for protection against chemical and microbiological risks are ideal when chemical resistance and high sensitivity is required, especially for prolonged use.

They are available both in nitrile and latex, with multi-purpose features and uses. All of our reusable gloves are food-grade and can, therefore, be used in food processing and manufacturing industries.

Compared to disposable gloves, our reusable gloves are thicker, thus more resistant to tearing, and, given their extra length, protect up to the forearm.

Some models feature internal flocking to prevent excessive perspiration, and can be worn for an extended period of time without loss of comfort and sensitivity.

For reuse, they can be washed and sanitized with alcohol-based gels, a solution that is also environmentally friendly.”

Disposable gloves

Polyethylene gloves

The disposable gloves in high density polyethylene are Personal Protective Equipment recommended for the sectors where a disposable glove of current use and easy donning is required. They are also suitable for contact with any type of food.

Work gloves

PVC-coated and non-coated work gloves are an indispensable protective device for anyone who handles tools or substances that may pose a risk to the upper extremities.

Workers are exposed to mechanical, thermal, chemical and microbiological risks, as well as electrical hazards or dangers related to radiation or vibrations. It is, therefore, important to carefully assess workers’ needs and area of use.

All types of work gloves must comply with specific regulations intended to protect hands and part of the arms when performing hazardous activities, thus ensuring safety, and, at the same time, comfort, flexibility and efficiency.
